Resiliency Massage & Bodywork
Mindy CMT, Owner
Mindy is a Certified Massage Therapist and Paramedic that has a passion for healing others. She brings a unique background with almost 10 years of experience in a busy 911 system, with 6 years of that as a Paramedic. She witnessed many of her fellow front line workers experience the same struggle of finding a balance of caring for oneself while caring for others. With this she found the importance of resiliency and proactively taking care of one’s self.
In 2023 she took that passion and attended Chico Massage School where she completed the 625 hour program and earned the title of Certified Massage Therapist. Here she studied many modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Myofascial, Craniosacral and Sports/Event Massage.
She's looking forward to bringing this new found skill and knowledge to those who are seeking balance and care for themselves. She even makes a special effort for her fellow first responders to make sure they live more sustainable, healthy lives.

What all is in a full body massage?
A full body massage typically involves a thorough and comprehensive session that covers all major muscle groups in the body. The massage therapist will use a combination of techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and stretching to promote relaxation, release tension, improve circulation, and reduce muscle pain and stiffness.
What is integrative massage?
Integrative massage is a holistic approach to massage therapy that combines different techniques and modalities to address the individual needs of the client. It incorporates elements from various massage styles such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to promote relaxation, reduce pain, improve flexibility, and enhance overall well-being. This customized approach allows the therapist to tailor the treatment to address specific issues and provide a comprehensive healing experience for the client.
What is sports/event massage?
Sports massage is a specialized form of massage therapy designed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or heal injuries. It focuses on addressing muscle tension, improving flexibility, enhancing blood flow, and reducing inflammation to help athletes improve their overall performance and prevent injuries. Sports massage techniques may include deep tissue massage, stretching, and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of tightness or soreness related to athletic activities. This can be done one-on-one or for a group of athletes. Please reach out if you would like more information.
What should I wear during my massage?
You will undress to your comfort level. I will provide draping to ensure your privacy and modesty during the session. Some clients choose to remove all clothing, while others prefer to keep their underwear on. Ultimately, the choice is yours and you should feel comfortable and relaxed during the massage.
Do I need to have a physicians approval to receive massage?
Some instances will require a physicians approval to receive massage. Current or recent cancer treatment, recent surgeries, recent/acute injuries, recent vehicle accident, newly diagnosed or uncontrolled chronic illness, prenatal or high risk pregnancies. I will do my best to work with your health care team to help you in your healing process. However if I feel that I am not qualified I will refer you to a fellow therapist with more specialized training.
